hi, i'm reigan. self-taught colored pencil artist based in chicago.

i first tried my hand at hyperrealism drawing in november 2023, after years of admiring other artists but never personally creating. what started as an experiment became a creative obsession. my work is a study of details: the barely-there colors, textures and patterns in both the natural and synthetic world.

my hope is that each drawing offers an invitation to look closer, to find pleasure in the trickery that hyperrealism often gives at first glance, and an appreciation for the hours of intentional practice behind it all.

when i’m not drawing or working, i’m usually outside with my sweet dog (banksy), creating mood boards, thrifting or vintage shopping, enjoying a heavily dairy-based meal, or doubling-over in laughter in the company of my cherished friends.
